Various plant parts such as leaves, petals, berries, roots, or even some tree barks can be used for dyeing the wool. After the wool has been naturally mordanted and cooked with the plant parts, it is placed in the sun for several weeks. After rinsing, the wool can be carded, spun, twisted, knitted, and woven.
