From Wool to Dress

Countless steps are involved in turning wool into a dress. Even more so if the dress is to be colorful. Various plant parts such as leaves, petals, berries, roots, or even some tree barks can be used for dyeing the wool. After the wool has been naturally mordanted and cooked with the plant parts, it is placed in the sun for several weeks. After rinsing, the wool can be carded, spun, twisted, knitted, and woven. Let yourself be shown the steps and marvel at the beauty of naturally dyed wool.
